Terms of Use
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Use are intended to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the National Cultural Space Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the “Foundation”) and users in connection with the use of information and services provided through the Foundation’s website (ncsf.or.kr).
Article 2 (Definitions)
For the purposes of these Terms:
- 1) “Website” refers to the website (ncsf.or.kr) operated by the Foundation for the purpose of providing information.
- 2) “User” refers to any person who accesses the Website and uses the services provided by the Foundation in accordance with these Terms.
- 3) “Content” refers to all information posted on the Website, including text, images, videos, and other materials.
Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)
- 1) These Terms shall take effect upon being posted on the Website.
- 2) The Foundation may amend these Terms to the extent that such amendments do not violate applicable laws and regulations. Any amendments shall be announced in advance on the Website.
- 3) If a User does not agree to the amended Terms, the User may discontinue use of the Website.
Article 4 (Provision and Modification of Services)
1) The Foundation provides the following services:
- - Information regarding the Foundation and its projects
- - Notices, publications, and other informational materials
- - Other services as determined by the Foundation
2) The Foundation may modify the content or method of providing services and shall provide prior notice where necessary.
Article 5 (Restriction of Use)
The Foundation may restrict access to or use of the Website in any of the following cases:
- 1) Where a User interferes with the normal operation of the Website
- 2) Where a User engages in conduct that violates applicable laws, public order, or social morals
- 3) Where the Foundation determines that restriction is otherwise necessary
Article 6 (Obligations of Users)
Users shall not engage in the following acts while using the Website:
- 1) Altering or damaging information posted on the Website without authorization
- 2) Infringing upon the intellectual property rights, including copyrights, of the Foundation or third parties
- 3) Interfering with the operation of the Website
- 4) Engaging in acts in violation of applicable laws and regulations
Article 7 (Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights)
- 1) All Content posted on the Website is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws and is owned by the Foundation or the legitimate rights holders.
- 2) Users may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, modify, or use the Content for commercial purposes without the prior consent of the Foundation.
- 3) Content marked under the Open Government License (Public Nuri) may be used in accordance with the applicable license terms.
Article 8 (Limitation of Liability)
- 1) The Foundation shall not be liable for any failure to provide services due to force majeure events, including natural disasters or system failures.
- 2) While the Foundation endeavors to ensure the accuracy and completeness of information posted on the Website, it shall not be liable for any damages arising from reliance on such information.
Article 9 (Protection of Personal Information)
The Foundation protects Users’ personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Matters relating to the processing of personal information are governed by the separate Privacy Policy.
Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms and any disputes arising from the use of the Website shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The competent court shall be the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Foundation’s principal office.
Addendum
These Terms of Use shall take effect on February 6, 2026.
